We are a non-profit community interest company, committed to tackling the causes of knife crime, Serious youth violence & Exploitation.
At CAV, we believe that change is possible,
We stand alongside young people and families, offering hope, support, and a way forward through initiatives like Community Action Days, mentoring programs, and workshops.
By engaging in direct outreach and collaboration, we equip communities with the tools needed to break the cycle of violence and create safer streets for the next generation through impactful youth work.
Our Vision
At Communities Against Violence, our vision is to create a future where every young person can thrive without fear.
To achieve this, CAV recognizes the challenges posed by exploitation and finds local solutions to promote positive change, positive lifestyles, and positive solutions through community action.
We actively engage the community to drive development, reduce inequalities, and foster social change towards a brighter future for our youth.
Through our mentoring programs and youth work, we strive to prevent violence and combat issues our youth and communities are facing.
Programmes and Services
CAV offers a range of programmes and services to support individuals and their
families in their local community,
focusing on issues such as
Serious Youth Violence,
Criminal Exploitation/Child Sexual Exploitation,
and Domestic Violence.
