Help Communities Against Violence Continue Their Life-Saving Work
Communities Against Violence (CAV) is a Community Interest Company dedicated to tackling knife crime and youth violence at its roots. Since 2024 CAV has grown into a vital lifeline for young people, families, and communities across the UK
We work directly with young people who are at risk, providing mentoring, creative outlets, and safe spaces where they feel heard and valued. We support bereaved families who have lost loved ones to violence, walking alongside them through unimaginable grief. We deliver workshops in schools, youth centres, and community spaces — equipping the next generation with the tools to make better choices and break the cycle of violence.
Since our founding, we have supported over 500 young people, delivered more than 35 workshops, partnered with over 10 organisations, and organised 6 Community Action Days. But the need is growing — and so must we.
Your donation will help us fund our outreach programmes, expand our bereavement support services, deliver more workshops in high-risk areas, and keep our team on the ground where they are needed most.
