In January 2023 CAV began to come together, starting on social media, dedicated to helping affected youth, families and their communities.
We teamed up with Anti-Knife campaigner Faron Paul from FAZAMNESTY and ran workshops and events with other key organisations around the Knife Angel in Slough, Berkshire.
Since then, we have participated in many events and held community action days.
In August 2024, CAV was officially registered as a non-profit Community Interest Company, and
We continue to grow and evolve, to meet the changing needs of our youth and the needs of the local communities across Berkshire and Greater London.

CAV are proud of the positive impact we are making in the community.
In Partnership with Knife Crime Activist, Faron Paul (FAZAMNESTY) we have collaborated with,
Local authorities, Police, schools and other local organisations to carry out community days and deliver workshops across the county and in schools, on the effects of Knife Crime and how to keep safe in the community.

Katherine is our Volunteer Youth Co-Ordinator. She joined the CAV team in April 2025.
Katherine tragically lost her son Kamari to knife crime in May 2024.
As a bereaved mum, her strength and courage shine through in her work. She is turning pain into purpose, connecting with families and young people, raising awareness and standing as a strong voice against knife crime.
Katherine’s dedication ensures that her son’s legacy lives on through the positive change she inspires in the community.
Rhiannon is the Founder and Managing Director. She started CAV with a simple but powerful goal…to make a difference. She brings her own lived experience along with years of work in care, education, and the criminal justice system.
Rhiannon is still a Youth Justice Practitioner at a local authority by day, as well as running CAV evenings and weekends. She is also a huge advocate for Anti-Knife, crime and Exploitation and extremely passionate about creating safe spaces, offering support, and making sure young people know there are always better choices and brighter futures ahead.
Jayde is a Co-Director at CAV and a proud silent partner who plays an important role behind the scenes. With a background in music production, and a life shaped by growing up in inner city London and overseas, Jayde understands the challenges that many young people face.
His lived experience and creative mindset help guide CAV's vision, keeping the voices of the community at the heart of what we do.
Each Volunteer brings their own unique skills and Life Experiences, but what unites them is a shared commitment to standing up to create safer futures.
From helping at events and workshops to being a listening ear for those who need it most, our volunteers play a vital role in everything we do.
Their dedication reminds us that real change happens when people come together.
